Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated August 31, 2026$1,999 educational program
The California Contractor Launch Program may be cancelled by written notice received within seven calendar days after payment for a full refund. The refund is not reduced based on portal activity, lessons viewed, or downloads. Program access ends when the refund is issued. After seven days, the educational charge is nonrefundable except where applicable law or a written Institute commitment requires otherwise.
$5,000 Guided Implementation service
Cancellation before kickoff receives a full refund. After kickoff, the refundable amount is the unearned allocation for undelivered components: $2,500 Starter Site; $1,000 coordination and milestone reviews; $500 provider preparation and document organization; and $1,000 advisory, workshops, and accountability.
$10,000 Business Buildout service
Cancellation before the strategy call receives a full refund of the $5,000 initial payment. After the completed strategy call and delivery of the proposed Statement of Work, but before acceptance, $750 is earned for discovery, strategy, and scope preparation and $4,250 is refundable. After both parties sign the customized Statement of Work, refunds are calculated only from its objective, documented service milestones. The second $5,000 is due only after signed Statement-of-Work acceptance and separate payment authorization.
À-la-carte implementation services
The accepted add-on order identifies the service price, kickoff event, deliverables, milestone allocations, and cancellation treatment. Cancellation before the stated kickoff receives a full refund. After kickoff, only amounts allocated to documented, delivered milestones become earned; undelivered allocations remain refundable.
Refund calculation
A service refund is calculated only from expressly stated milestone allocations and documented deliverables completed before the effective cancellation date. Complimentary program access, curriculum activity, downloads, or general reserved capacity do not reduce a service refund. Cancellation does not make an undelivered milestone earned.
Third-party charges
Government filing fees, examination fees, professional-provider charges, insurance premiums, bond costs, software subscriptions, advertising spend, and other client-authorized third-party expenses are not Institute program fees and are not refundable by the Institute.
Cancellation and access
A purchaser may cancel by written notice. The agreement applicable to that purchase controls access, work in progress, earned milestones, charges, and refunds. Rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain in effect.
