California Contractor Launch Program Agreement
Last updated September 16, 2026One non-degree educational program
The California Contractor Launch Program is The Contractor Institute's single non-degree educational offering. It contains 12 modules, 36 required lessons, 12 formative checkpoints, online workbooks, protected reference materials, a provider directory, and the educational review entitlement described below. The program includes instruction for creating a contractor AI policy, a controlled front-office workflow, and three documented workflow test plans. It provides education and organizational tools; it does not issue a contractor license, degree, professional certification, website, custom software, or done-for-you business buildout.
Educational charge
The total educational charge is $1,999, paid once before access begins. The Institute does not accept state or federal student financial aid. Government fees, bonds, insurance, software, advertising, independently retained professionals, and optional implementation services are not part of this educational charge.
Start, access term, and delivery
The program starts when payment is confirmed and the member portal is activated. Digital access continues for 24 months. Lessons are self-paced and delivered online. Live group sessions are included only when the Institute publishes a dated session in the portal; no recurring live-session schedule or guaranteed availability is promised.
Included educational feedback and review
The $1,999 charge includes automated feedback on formative checkpoints, one human educational review of one consolidated portfolio submission after the member completes the required module practice, and one correction resubmission responding to that review. Philippe Van Nieuwenhuyse, Program Monitor, owns intake and routing. Reviews identify missing evidence, internal inconsistency, unsupported assumptions, and the next learning action. They do not provide legal, tax, insurance, safety, accounting, engineering, licensing, or business approval. Submission instructions and current capacity status appear in the portal. The Institute does not promise a response date until the submission is accepted into the displayed review queue.
Completion standard
Lesson and checkpoint activity records content progress only. A member may separately submit the named independent-practice artifacts for human educational review. The portal distinguishes content progress, portfolio submitted, correction requested, and educational review complete. No status verifies professional approval, CSLB eligibility, insurance coverage, tax treatment, contract sufficiency, safety compliance, field competence, or production readiness of an AI workflow, and no status is an official certification.
No implementation-service deliverables
The educational program does not include a website build, custom document production, project management, provider setup, bookkeeping implementation, individualized operating-system or AI-workflow installation, custom software or integrations, private advisory sessions, or priority review beyond the single portfolio review and correction resubmission described above. Other deliverables are available only through a separate written Implementation Services Agreement when offered.
Seven-day cancellation
A purchaser may cancel by written notice received within seven calendar days after payment for a full refund of the $1,999 educational charge. The full refund is not reduced based on portal activity, lessons viewed, or downloads. Access ends when the refund is issued. After that period, the educational charge is nonrefundable except where applicable law or a written Institute commitment requires otherwise. The Institute will refund any educational charge if it cancels the program before providing access.
Member obligations
The member must provide truthful information, protect account credentials, complete original work, avoid publishing protected materials, and verify current government instructions before filing or relying on them. One purchase provides access only to the named member and may not be shared or transferred.
No promised outcome
Enrollment or completion does not guarantee qualifying experience, examination success, license issuance, employment, revenue, profitability, financing, insurance placement, or business performance. CSLB and other authorities make their own decisions.
